My creative career began when I was a child. I was always drawing, painting, writing, and building models.
In high school I began taking classes with Art Instruction Schools. Yeah, believe it or not I was one of the people that they choose for their program. I still have my certificate for finishing the program there that consisted of lessons via the USPS. In high school I took classes in anything that had to do with art, which included; traditional art, commercial art, architectural design, and CAD classes.
After graduation, I attenede the Minneapolis College of Art and Design where I took several classes in traditional art and the humanities. It was during Prince's, Purple Rain album release time, so Minneapolis was at it's height having a native son make good. Due to lack of funds, I was unable to attend after my first year, so I returned home to NJ.
I eventually went back to college attaining an Associates of Applied Science degree in Business Management (Warren County Community College), a Bachelors of Art in English (Thomas Edison State College), a Masters of Art in the Communication Arts (Marywood University), and awaiting a MBA in Mrketing (Centenary College). I also took classes at the Art Students League (NYC) and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I basically finished a film theory minor at UNCC (although never recieving an official minor in it due to the fact I switched to an online college for my last 12 credits of my Bachelors of Art in English at TESC)
I started my animation career at Marywood Univeristy while I was seeking to produce a documentary on Near Death Experiences when my professor, Douglas Lawrence, suggested I use Carrara to complete the images I needed. I downloaded a free copy of Carrara and fell in love with the world of 3d, thus changing my direction from documentaries to animations/motion graphics. While at Marywood I completed a short animation on The Tibetan Book of the Dead and an animation of Chapter One of my children's book, The Venetian Lion. I also created a few websites, flash components, formal papers, and screenplays while there.
Works in Progress
I have various works in progress including a feature animation, "The Little Match Girl" as well as "Alice - In Wonderland" which will be completed chapter by chapter. I am also creating digital products that can be purchased at Renderosity and Content Paradise. These will include backgrounds and photoshop brushes. I also intend to add a section to this website where my stock images may be purchsed.
Many great projects ahead including screenplays!
